On Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The seminary family gathered around the Lord’s altar, to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice which was presided over by Fr. George Haddad (OFM), the assistant priest in Bethlehem parish, and the priests of the seminary as Co-celebrants. With the attendance of Deacon Fadi Abu Saada and Charbel Abu Saada. They all celebrated a devotional mass To Saint Joseph for peace in Gaza.
In his homily, Fr. George pointed out, starting from the psalm of the day, which is, “Our help is the name of the Lord,” how much today we truly need to rely on God and trust in Him in these difficult situations that our country is suffering from.
We ask for the intercession of Saint Joseph so that God may grant Our country peace and give its people confidence in him, and to follow the example of St. Joseph, the one who trusted God and obeyed his will.
اجتمعت العائلة الإكليريكيّة حول مائدة الرّبّ يوم الأربعاء الموافق 25 تشرين الأوّل 2023، وذلك في قدّاس احتفالي ترأّسه الأب جورج حدّاد الكاهن الفرنسيسكاني المساعد في رعيّة بيت لحم بمشاركة كهنة المعهد الإكليريكي وحضور كلّ من الشّماس فادي أبو سعدى والأخ شربل أبو سعدى، حيث احتفلوا جميعاً بقدّاس تعبّدي للقدّيس يوسف من أجل السّلام في غزّة،
وأشار الأب جورج في عظته منطلقاً من مزمور النّهار وهو “إنَّ عونَنا اسمُ الرّبّ”، وكم أنّا بحاجة اليوم حقيقةً الى الاتّكال على الله والثّقة به في هذه الظّروف الصّعبة الّتي تعانيها بلادنا.
نطلب شفاعة القدّيس يوسف كي يمنح بلادنا السّلام ويمنح أهلها الثّقة بالله على مثاله هو الّذي وثق بالله وأطاع مشيئته.
