On Monday, May 8th, 2023, the Seminary of the Latin Patriarchate welcomed 18 students in their first year of theology from the Seminary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Detroit, Michigan. The group was accompanied by two priest formators: one responsible for spiritual life and the other teaching dogmatic theology. Among the 18 students were three Chaldeans of Iraqi origin. The rector of the seminary, Father Bernard Poggi, hosted the visitors along with the priests and students of the seminary. A welcoming atmosphere prevailed as the students got to know each other, and Father Bernard led an introductory tour of the seminary.
استقبل المعهد الإكليريكي يوم الأثنين 08/05/2023 إكليريكية قلب يسوع الأقدس في مدينة ديترويت – ميشيغان، كان عددهم 18 طالبًا في السنة الأولى لللاهوت، مع اثنين من الكهنة المنشئين: أحدهم هو الكاهن المسؤول عن الحياة الروحية، والآخر هو كاهن معلم العقيدة، و من بين ال 18 طالبًا، 3 منهم كلدانٌ من أصولٍ عراقية. استضافهم رئيس المعهد، الأب برنارد بوجيّ برفقة كهنة وطلاب المعهد، حيث ساد جوٌ من السرور أثناء تعرّف الطلاب على بعضهم البعض. ومن ثم قام الأب برنارد بجولة تعريفية في المعهد.
